Proof of Liquidity Program Launched: Lock Tokens, Become a Validator
We’ve launched the Proof of Liquidity program for our community. Earn points for providing liquidity that you will be able to exchange for node NFTs to become a validator on the LightLink network.
We're excited to announce our new Proof of Liquidity program for the LightLink community!
Earn points for providing liquidity that you will be able to exchange for node NFTs and become a validator on the LightLink network.
What is Proof of Liquidity
Proof of Liquidity (PoL) is our on-chain community program designed to reward those who provide liquidity in LightLink's DeFi protocols, thereby strengthening our ecosystem.
By participating, you earn points that you will be able to exchange for node NFTs, enabling you to operate a validator node on the network and receive staking rewards.
How Points Are Calculated
At present, we support Elektrik and Amped Finance, with plans to include more protocols in the program.
On Amped Finance, every dollar locked as ALP equals one point. For instance, locking 1,000 USDC as ALP grants 1,000 points. More details on liquidity provision in Amped Finance can be found in our guide on X.
On Elektrik Network, each dollar in WETH, USDT, USDC, and WBTC earns a point, while each dollar in LL earns two points. Other tokens don't earn points - they aren't whitelisted.
Examples:
- 0.3 WETH (~$1,000) with 1,000 WBUSD in a WBUSD/WETH pool earns 1,000 points since WBUSD isn’t whitelisted.
- 0.3 WETH (~$1,000) with 1,000 USDC in a WETH/USDC pool earns 2,000 points.
- 0.3 WETH ($1,000) and 50,000 LL ($1,000) in a WETH/LL pool earn 3,000 points since LL earns double points.
Check your points on the PoL page by connecting your wallet and ensure it's the same wallet used for liquidity provision. If there are issues, create a support ticket on our Discord.
Points are credited at midnight, and the dashboard is updated every 15 minutes.
What the Heck Are Node NFTs
Node NFTs are a license to secure the network in exchange for staking rewards.
Node setup on LightLink will be simple and quick, supporting Windows, Mac, and Linux for broad compatibility.
Currently, redeeming node NFTs with points from staking LL, TIA, PYTH and providing liquidity is the sole method to become a network validator. No sales or other methods are planned at this time.
How to Redeem Your Points for Node NFTs
Once our on-chain programs conclude in several months, you'll be able to see how many points you've earned across all activities and then redeem them for node NFTs on a designated page.
To facilitate this, you'll need to connect your wallet. We recommend using the same wallet to stake LL and provide liquidity. This strategy allows you to accumulate more points, potentially leading you to the top of our leaderboard and increasing your chances of acquiring more nodes.
How to Bridge Assets to LightLink
Tokens must be locked on the LightLink network to be eligible for the program.
Use the official LightLink bridge to transfer LL, ETH, and other tokens from Ethereum Mainnet and BNB Chain.
For broader chain compatibility, use deBridge Finance to connect with over 10 additional chains, as detailed in our guide on X.
