LightLink Testnet Bridge Launch
We are proud to announce we have recently completed development of the bridge to allow transfer of assets between LightLink and Ethereum's networks and have deployed it for testing between the LightLink Pegasus Testnet network and Ethereum's Goerli network.
We are proud to announce we have recently completed development of the bridge to allow transfer of assets between LightLink and Ethereum's networks and have deployed it for testing between the LightLink Pegasus Testnet network and Ethereum's Goerli network.
We have initially allowed two assets for transfer between both networks - ETH and USDT. We will look to expand on this list in the coming weeks as we progress further towards making additional decentralised apps available on LightLink.
In order to use the bridge you will need testnet Ethereum on the source chain you will be sending from, to obtain some there are faucets available that will grant you a small amount of Ethereum.

Transferring your assets
Once you have connected your Metamask wallet to the site you can select which network you would like to bridge assets to and from by clicking the directional button between the two panels.
Select the asset by clicking the "Token to bridge" selector and then enter the amount you wish to transfer.
After initiating the transfer (by clicking Transfer) and then confirming the transaction in your Metamask wallet you will see your transfer appear in the "Recent Transactions" panel below after they have been confirmed on-chain.
USDT
If you would like to try bridging across an asset other than ETH you can obtain some USDT on Goerli to bridge across to LightLink Pegasus. The contract address for USDT on Ethereum Goerli that is allowed for bridging is: 0x9648cd023581BC83fA0E0D676a548cE179d592cA.
You can mint some for yourself on Ethereum Goerli by using the 'mint' function on the contract. Ensure you are connected to the Ethereum Goerli network and browse to the contract on Goerli Etherscan, then click 'write' after entering your desired USDT amount plus 6 zeros (+000000). The example below would mint $100 USDT.
